Mark Kemp is Director at Place Architects Limited. He has been a sole shareholder director of the small architectural practice in Cornwall for over 10 years. Mark was a co-director of the firm during the 2008 recession, which has remained a going concern through difficult trading periods ever since-recently, commencing a growth strategy and successfully re-branding the company. He was on the board of RIBA Enterprises for 3 years overseeing the partial equity sale of that business and held the offices of vice chair of the Board and chair of the Risk & Audit committee. Mark currently sits on the Finance & Operations committee for RIBA and chairs the RIBAJ Editorial Panel.
